Hibernate version: v3rc1

having a problem with eclipse (happens in jboss build i downloaded as well as from eclipse site)

I include the hibernate3 jar into the project and through the properties I try and set the javadoc to the <hibernate-install-dir>.doc.api directory. which contains a valid index.html and package-list files.

when I try and use the validate button on the form it tells me it can see this and I can open in the browser.

however when in the JDT editor I select a hibernate entity and hit f2 for the javadoc - i get an empty comment.

does any one know what I have to do to get the javadoc accessed from the JDT.

it sees my own javadoc okay and the sun reference javadoc.

Will

this sounds like a quesiton for the eclipse forums.

(tip: embedded javadoc is only available for jars with associated source inside eclipse)
