Hi mates, I have a hibernate doubt although I've read lots of documentation an posts about Hibernate.

As for I read in the Hibernate reference manual, lazy initializaiton only affects to one-to-one and many-to-one relationships. So, what does it happen when you have a one-to-many relationship like the one in father-sons? How are collections managed then?

What is the diference between fetch="join", fetch="eager-join" and feth="outer-join"? Or what's similar, can anyone tell me the diference between FetchMode.JOIN, FetchMode.SELECT and FetchMode.EAGER?

Thank you very much for help. :)

Hibernate version:
Hibernta 3.0 rc1

Name and version of the database you are using:
Oracle 9i

Collections can be marked as lazy too. See section 6.2 or the 2.1.7 reference entitled: "Mapping a collection"
