Hi mates!

I've read lots of documentation about writing binary data in Oracle9i. I've achieved to write binary files into my Oracle 9i database. However, although I do it by following the steps showed at:

http://www.hibernate.org/56.html

I do not consider this way the very best in the world. So, I would like to know if there is someone who knows an alternative way.

I've also read many posts, among them:

http://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.ph ... inary+blob

and specially interesting is this:

http://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.ph ... inary+blob

although I haven't been able to get the latter to work in the way it says.

Since I'm using Hibernate3 beta4, do you know if there is any new implementation that eases this task?

Thanks to all for you time!! :)

Any idea?
