hi List!

I was told that Hibernate 3 has some features that support instance based security approach, i.e. security considerations that apply to concrete instances of class. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about that,
so just wondering if there is a doc, article or something like that on this subject?
Maybe some of you have used this approach in real life, so we could share opinions on that.

I hope to hear from you soon!
br,
Vladimir.

You can use an Interceptor to implement that, or, extend one of the events.

Thanks a lot! Is there any articles, docs samples etc on how I can implement instance-based security using events? As far as I understand, events is a feature introduced in 3.0, so 2.x versions doesn't support it?
