Hi

I am having trouble finding the method details of the
System.Collections.IList class ?

Where can i browse the class definition for ilist ?

I was hoping there would be java-like api documentation
that is so easy to browse ?

However i noticed that ms also gives such api doco but
they give out the details as if it is coming from a constipated cow...

on one page of api for a particular class they tell you only **ONE**
method signature ....what about constructor ? what about fieldnames ?
what about all method signatures.....

like how Java has it....does ms have anywhere in its GB sized bullshit doco....??? or is all garbage ????

and how do ms developers browse the api ? assuming they do ....??

any insights would be much appreciated because all this is getting me very depressed :-(

personally I use google to search the online documentation (much faster).

try:

System.Collections.IList site:msdn.microsoft.com

In the search bar. Top listing takes you straight to

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpref/html/frlrfsystemcollectionsilistclasstopic.asp

Hope this helps

Mark

I you install the .NET Framework SDK (+ Updates) then, you will have a link (in your start menu) to the .NET documentation. And it contains ALL the API documentation with ALL the classes/methods/...
And you will also have a "general" documentation explaining the concepts of .NET.
