I don't know if Tobin is listening, but one last wrap up of the SF forum into CHM would be handy. There was quite a bit of useful info there.

I agree...
But we should wait a week or two that it gets locked (so that it will really be the last one).

What sort of export mechanism(s), if any, does sf.net provide for the forum software?

Yup, I'm listening (occasionally!).

Glad there's some call for the CHM file - I'll see if I can get the latest one created. I've been having a problem with my "ripper", in that it doesn't like the time-outs too much. Once I get time to fix I'll run it again. Hopefully not too long!

It's great that we now have a decent forum. It's so nice to be able to see code in a "code" block, makes things much more readable. Not to mention searching etc...

Tobin

Is there a way of poking out info from phpbb to e.g. a searchable CHM file. It is really neat to have it in a offline format since it's not always the case you're online and secondly the forum is not functioning (as for a few days ago when db connection seemed not to work)...

/Mario

It is possible to export the phpBB data as a SQL script so that you can use it to populate a local instance; but it is only available to Administrators.
