Hi,
Poking around the nhibernate source (as one does :) I notice that the second level caching only supports getting entities one at a time. Some caching solutions, memcached for example, support getting entities in batches. It occurs to me that this would be a very useful ability within nhibernate, for example in retrieving collections, or entities from cached queries. However, I maybe naive in my thinking. Does anyone have an explanation for the reason this is not supported, or the issues involved?

Thanks,
