Hi,
in the provided log4j.properties file are two lines I am not able on
append in my log4j.xml.

Code:
log4j.rootLogger=warn, stdout

log4j.logger.net.sf.hibernate=info

Where do I have to put them?

Thanks for your help.

bye

What kind of application do you write?
Do you use a standalone client or an app server or tomact?

I never use Hibernate with Tomcat but for JBoss I only put the conf/log4j.xml in debug mode perhaps for TOmcat is the same thing.

Sure it is the same thing, what I asked was how these to tags
already mentioned above are included in the xml-file.

I guess that the Log4j documentation can help with that.
