I came from a visual Studio environment and now I have to maintain a java product.

I install eclipse and have the code and the database on my local machine and both seems ok.

I am using Microsoft Sql server 2012 with windows authentication(no passsord, no user).

My obstacle is how to connect to the database on my local machine. I came across this code

cdp.hibernate.dialect=org.hibernate.dialect.SQLServerDialect
cdp.hibernate.connection.driver_class=net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver
cdp.hibernate.connection.url=jdbc\:jtds\:sqlserver\://127.0.0.1\:1433/USERS
cdp.hibernate.connection.username=sa
cdp.hibernate.connection.password=xxxxxxx
cdp.default_schema=USERS.dbo

I tried without the
cdp.hibernate.connection.username=sa
cdp.hibernate.connection.password=xxxxxxx
