Passing checkstyle and findbugs oon the head codebase.....

Hi I am working on a fix to.....

It seems like the head is a real moving target. That is fine, but I am having problems getting the head to run the :CheckStyle and :FindBugs Gradle tasks.

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask about it, but I thought it would be a more general place to start than the bug conversation.

actually this is the Hibernate OGM forum, but
you are talking about Hibernate ORM.

I will move the post to the right place as soon as I 've found a way to do it.

What kind of problem do you have exactly?

Yes, it is the ORM. I think I have the wrong Project. Sorry....

hi Jeff,
there seems to be a checkstyule bug which affects validation runs on Windows, and we had figured that out so we didn't act on it yet.

Are you running windows? In that case, could you temporarily comment out the check which verifies the amount of white lines at the end of the file?
Or just disable checkstyle for now, an improvement is being worked on.. at worst we'll disable that check permanently.

Yes I am on Windows....

I finally had to comment out the check style, now I am running into problems with the findBugs :(.

This sould really be much easier than it is....
