i am a student in my second year in the university and i heard that hibernate databse is replcacing oracle database , but i know that sound not true , so what is the differnt for example between using hibernate database and oracle database.
i know one who is working in a company that develop products and the products were developed using JSP pages that are connected to oracle database , and after that they have transform the oracle database to hibernate to be able to implement their products on any databases.
so in my case i want to start working and learning how to use JSP pages with oracle datable and JDBC , so should i move toward using JSP pages with hibernate datable , i mean i do not need to learn pl/sql?
i need this help urgently, and sorry if i have provided wrong information or questions
